About Us

A hospitality branding studio rooted in Myanmar.

The Burma Host is a boutique hospitality branding agency based in Yangon, Myanmar. We help hotels, resorts, restaurants, cafés, tea houses and travel businesses build brands that feel unmistakably local and perform to an international standard. Our work begins with strategy — positioning, naming and a clear sense of who a property is for — and continues into visual identity, menu and signage systems, photography direction, and the operating standards that let a brand deliver on its promise every single day.

We are built for hospitality owners and operators rather than for a single industry vertical. Our clients are independent hoteliers opening their first boutique property, family-run restaurants modernising an inherited business, resort groups entering the Myanmar market, and F&B teams who need a coherent identity across several outlets. Many of them arrive with a strong sense of place but no clear way to express it. We translate that feeling into a brand that travellers can recognise, remember and recommend.

The studio is deliberately small and hands-on. Projects are led personally by our founders, a Yangon-based team of brand strategists, designers and hospitality operators who have worked across front-of-house service, property operations, content and performance marketing. That mix matters: it means a brand concept is tested against real staffing, pricing and booking realities before it is signed off, not after.

What we do

Five disciplines under one roof: hospitality branding, operation management, AI agent builds, social media management and digital marketing. They are designed to be used together. A brand identity is only as good as the service behind it, and a beautiful property with no distribution strategy stays quiet. Because we handle strategy, identity, operations and marketing as one connected engagement, the story we write is the story your team is trained to deliver and the story your channels keep telling.

How we work

Every engagement runs through four stages — discover, define, design and deliver. We listen first, document what makes the property distinctive, then build the identity and systems around it. After launch we stay involved: measuring what guests respond to, refining the experience, and growing direct bookings season after season.
